BUSINESS CONTEXT BEFORE DESIGN DECISIONS

A website should explain
why your work matters.

A prospective client should not have to piece together what you offer, who it is for, or how to start working with you.

My website design process begins with those questions. We look at your audience, offer, and conversion goals, then organise the pages and content before designing the interface.

For product UI/UX, the questions shift to tasks, user roles, and usability. I work through the flows and interface states people need to navigate a SaaS product, app, dashboard, or portal.

WHAT GUIDES THE WORK

Design decisions you
can trace to a purpose.

01

Understand the offer

The page structure should reflect how a client evaluates your service, not the order in which your business created it.

02

Make information usable

Labels, headings, and navigation need to help people find answers without unnecessary interpretation.

03

Give each action a clear job

An inquiry, a discovery call, and a product task are different decisions. Their design and microcopy should make that difference clear.

04

Design across screen sizes

Content priorities, navigation, and interface states are considered for smaller screens from the start.

05

Prepare for implementation

Approved screens need enough responsive direction and interaction detail to support a coherent build.

ONE COORDINATED PROJECT

Direct design input.
Clear responsibilities.

I lead the design thinking and keep the project aligned with its agreed scope. When development is included, I coordinate the appropriate technical implementation or a trusted development collaborator.

Design-only projects finish with the agreed deliverables and handoff. Design-and-build projects continue through testing and launch. You know which path we are taking before work begins.

For international projects, we agree on meeting times, feedback channels, and review milestones so decisions do not get lost between time zones.
